Dr. Michael Kirchner

Dr. Michael Kirchner has been the winner of the News and Tribune’s Best Dentist of Clark County three years running: 2015, 2016, and 2017. He has won numerous other awards, including:

  • The Concept of Complete Dentistry Award from the Dawson Academy
  • The Rising Star Award from One Southern Indiana Chamber of Commerce for top business less than five years old
  • The Business Source Top 20 under 40 for business professionals

During his residency at the University of Toledo Division of Hospital Dentistry, Dr. Kirchner studied sedation techniques for patients with dental anxiety and complex oral surgery. He continued his studies of sedation dentistry at DOCS and received advanced training in dentures from Massad and the Geneva Dental Institute of Sacramento.

Since opening his own practice, Dr. Kirchner has continued to improve his skills and training. He takes ten times the number of continuing education courses required of dentists in Indiana. He’s enhanced his knowledge of esthetic dentistry, TMJ pain, endodonics, anesthesia, occlusion,  prosthetics, rehabilitative dentistry, and more.

Dr. Kirchner believes in being actively involved in the local community and giving back. He sits on the board of the Clark County Youth Shelter and, in partnership with local organizations, gives away free dental services to people without the resources to pay for care.

Dr. Kimberly Sherry

Dr. Kimberly Sherry joined Kirchner Dental in 2017. Her career in dentistry was born out of pure passion. After working in the corporate world after college, she realized that her true calling was dentistry. This motivated her to return to school. She graduated cum laude from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.

Dr. Sherry’s love for her craft comes through every day, in every interaction with her patients. She is relatable and knows how to put nervous people at ease with her friendliness and sense of humor. She is a skilled listener who is dedicated to creating the best treatment plan for each person who comes to see her.
